Asking a girl out is a completely different ball game than picking up women. Asking them out is when you already know the girl whereas picking them up is usually done in public with relatively strange women. This can work to your advantage or disadvantage depending on how you play it. If you know the girl really well then it is both an advantage and a disadvantage; because you know her so well you know what she likes but she may like you too much as a friend!
To ask a girl out you need to be sufficiently prepared and we will be going over the key points to get you going on your quest now.
Know your ‘target’
Calling women a ‘target’ may seem a bit sexist and territorial but in this example that’s exactly what she is: your target. Get to know her, does she like jazz? Then find out about local jazz hangouts you can go to! Try to make out you have an interest in Jazz but don’t go too far you definitely do not want her quizzing you about it which will leave you looking foolish!
Be Cool
Easier said than done for most men, but try to keep it as cool as possible. Remember you know this girl so if you lay all your cards out and she just flat out rejects you chances are you’re going to be seeing her again. When asking her out try to make it seem like you would like her there but if she doesn’t show then it’s no big deal. To go back to the jazz example you could say:
“Hey, I’m going to this jazz night tomorrow Johnny Saxophone is playing it would be cool if you came, fancy it?”
Here you’re letting her know you would like her to be there but are showing her that if she doesn’t go your still going so it’s definitely not affecting your plans either way.
So get to know your ‘target’ and play it cool and all you need to worry about is how to act on the date!
